Borderlands 4 (PPSA01494) loads its UI library with
sceKernelLoadStartModule("/app0/prx/libRenoirCore.PS5.prx"), but ships
the module as prx/librenoircore.ps5.prx. On Linux the call fails:
Could not load /app0/prx/libRenoirCore.PS5.prx result 0, handle result -2147352574
(0x80020002, ENOENT). Guest paths are resolved case-insensitively, but
that only finds a component that exists. With the documented layout,
app0/prx holds only the converted librenoircore.ps5.prx.guest.prx,
so the requested name resolves to itself and RelinkedModulePath then
looks for "libRenoirCore.PS5.prx.guest.prx" with its exact spelling.
Windows and macOS hosts ignore the case, so only Linux is affected.
RelinkedModulePath now falls back to the same ASCII case-insensitive
match as ResolveHostPath when the exact <name>.guest.prx is missing,
and throws for an ambiguous match as that does. dlopen,
sceKernelLoadStartModule, stat, open and sceKernelCheckReachability all
go through it.

Guest path resolution trimmed the trailing slash of a path under a
mount alias (/savedata0, /download0, /app0 and the others), so the host
saw "file" for "file/": unlink, remove, sceKernelUnlink and rename
removed or moved the file, open opened it, and chmod and access
succeeded on it. The same path outside an alias already failed with
ENOTDIR, because the host got the slash.
FreeBSD 11.4 rejects it in lookup() (sys/kern/vfs_lookup.c):
/*
* If we're processing a path with a trailing slash,
* check that the end result is a directory.
*/
if ((cnp->cn_flags & TRAILINGSLASH) && dp->v_type != VDIR) {
error = ENOTDIR;
goto bad2;
}
On Linux and macOS a path under an alias now keeps its trailing slash
on the host path, as paths outside an alias do, so the host fails with
ENOTDIR for a file and directories with a trailing slash still work.
Windows keeps the previous behaviour; TechnicalDebt records it.

Add the missing wide secure formatting exports required by PPSA15552
(Dead Cells), whose load failed with `undefined symbol: Im55VJ-Bekc`:
swprintf_s and its va_list counterpart follow C11 Annex K.3.9.1.4
(the complete output, including the terminator, must fit), while
vsnwprintf_s is the va_list counterpart of snwprintf_s (K.3.9.1.3,
truncation with full length). The export names produce NIDs
Im55VJ-Bekc, oDoV9tyHTbA and 8SKVXgeK1wY respectively. Document
the new functions in docs/dev/debt/libc.md.
swscanf (HNnWdT43ues) runs the swscanf_s scanner without the buffer
size arguments after %s, %c and %[, as FreeBSD's swscanf.c passes its
arguments to vswscanf. Both entry points share one engine with a flag
for the sizes; swscanf_s behaves as before.
Title: PS5CEMU-HAR PPSA99360 imports swscanf from libSceLibcInternal.prx
(import audit with --trap-sdk-syscall-stubs, registry index 292, right
after pthread_setaffinity_np at 276). Predicted stop line once
pthread_setaffinity_np resolves, without this change:
FAIL: unresolved ELF import HNnWdT43ues (swscanf) from libSceLibcInternal.prx
NID from tools/nid_names.py, confirmed in shadPS4 aerolib.inl:51950
(e0a466753a1a). Prototype in ps5-payload-dev include/freebsd/wchar.h:133,
export in sce_stubs/libSceLibcInternal.c:8582 (f5d40f02770e).

A commit failure inside the guest arena threw and left the reserved range in use. The heap now resets and releases the range, and returns null with ENOMEM when the host is out of memory. reallocalign returns null with EINVAL or ENOMEM like the other allocator entry points.
A size the default heap rejects or the guest arena cannot place, a calloc product that overflows, and an invalid alignment threw through the guest call, which aborted the process. FreeBSD 11.4 returns null with ENOMEM, or EINVAL for an alignment that is not a power of two. Guest arena exhaustion now throws bad_alloc.
Add missing libc.prx symbols required by Unity IL2CPP runtime:
- Implement _Dtest double classification in Math.cpp
- Implement _Inf double constant in Math.cpp
- Implement sceLibcBacktraceGetBufferSize and sceLibcBacktraceSelf in Backtrace.cpp
- Implement _Cnd_signal in Threads.cpp
- Implement _ZNSt8ios_base7_AddstdEPS_ in RuntimeSupport.cpp
- Implement __pointer_type_info and __function_type_info vtables in TypeInfo.cpp
- Remove duplicate stubs from libSceAmpr/Export.cpp
- Add unit tests in GuestMath.cpp and GuestLibcThreads.cpp
- Document unverified behaviors in docs/dev/debt/libc.md
With --trace-imports the entry stub resolves TraceImport_nid_no_patch
in libc.prx and passes each function import through it before writing
the slot: every PLT slot, and a GOT slot only when the original symbol
is a function, so data imports such as __stdoutp keep their address.
Without the option the output is unchanged.

TraceImport_nid_no_patch wraps a function of a library named in
APS5_TRACE_CALLS in a thunk that records the import, the thread and
the caller in a ring and counts the call, then jumps to the function.
One target keeps one thunk, so function pointers compare equal. The
crash and abort reports print the last 64 calls and the 32 most called
imports. Nothing calls TraceImport_nid_no_patch yet.

ES-DE in RetroArch (PPSA99169) imports tzname from libSceLibcInternal and
fails to load without it; ICU's uprv_tzname reads it after localtime. It
points at the host's zone names and tzset refreshes it.

strftime handed most conversions to the host's strftime, which differs
from FreeBSD 11's for E and O modifiers on conversions glibc does not
pair with them (%Ea was printed literally), padding flags on %+ and %v,
years outside 1000 to 9999 (%Y printed 899 and -1 where FreeBSD prints
0899 and -001), and out-of-range fields (%I of hour 100, %u of weekday
8). On Windows the padding flags printed nothing. strftime now follows
FreeBSD 11 strftime.c with the C locale on every host, and asctime
follows FreeBSD 11 asctime.c, padding years to four digits and setting
longer years apart.

Dusklight (PPSA99305) imports atanhf (cPGyc5FGjy0) from
libSceLibcInternal.prx; the libc.prx it bundles only has a zero-return
stub for it.
The implementation follows the atanhf of the libc.prx bundled with
PPSA28319 (0x438a0), read from its disassembly: FreeBSD msun's
e_atanhf.c calling msun's s_log1pf.c, both as of 59bc2f09 (stable/9,
the revision the sinhf port took expm1f and expf from). The log1pf
paths for the positive arguments atanhf passes are inlined, as the
exported log1pf is still the host's. For |x| > 1, the infinities and
NaN, Sony's error helper raises FE_INVALID and sets errno to EDOM
before returning (x - x) / (x - x); for |x| = 1 it sets errno to
ERANGE before returning x / 0. Other arguments leave errno alone.
Running that code from the title's libc.prx on a Windows host gives
the same bits, errno and floating-point exceptions as the built
libc.prx for all 2^32 arguments, and msun's own e_atanhf.c and
s_log1pf.c built with the host compiler give the same bits. With the
host log1pf instead of the msun one, 4.7% of the arguments in [0, 1)
differ. guest_math pins bits for every branch reachable from atanhf,
both signs, and the errno and exception behaviour.

The guest formatter handed NaN to the host's snprintf, which prints
-nan for a negative NaN and +nan or " nan" with the + and space flags.
FreeBSD 11's vfprintf clears the sign of every NaN and prints nan (NAN
for the upper-case conversions), keeping the width and the - flag and
ignoring 0. The formatter now does the same for a, e, f and g and
their long double forms.

PS5MC (PPSA99420) imports wcsftime (XbVXpf5WF28, aerolib) as the last
absent libSceLibcInternal import in its registry order (index 481), so
its predicted stop is:
FAIL: unresolved ELF import XbVXpf5WF28 from libSceLibcInternal.prx
The stop is predicted from the import order, not observed in a run.
wcsftime follows FreeBSD 11.4 lib/libc/locale/wcsftime.c (8c639945):
the wide format is converted with wcsrtombs, strftime fills a buffer of
maxsize * MB_CUR_MAX bytes limited to maxsize, and mbsrtowcs converts
the result back. A format unit that the single-byte C locale of
lib/libc/locale/none.c cannot encode returns 0 with EILSEQ, a maxsize
whose product with MB_CUR_MAX overflows returns 0 with EINVAL, and an
empty or overflowing result or a null buffer returns 0 with errno
unchanged; the ERANGE or EINVAL set by the Windows CRT's strftime is
discarded. A null format or tm throws, as FreeBSD dereferences it.

Homebrew built with the ps5-payload-dev SDK links LLVM libunwind
statically but imports _Unwind_Backtrace from libSceLibcInternal. Its
trace callback then reads each frame with its own _Unwind_GetIP, which
treats the context as a libunwind cursor and calls through the virtual
table in its first word. AnyPS5's context started with the saved RAX, so
the call jumped to a register value and the title crashed on its error
path (vkQuake, PPSA99010, without its game data). The context now starts
with a table in AbstractUnwindCursor's slot order that answers register
reads and writes, validFloatReg and isSignalFrame; other slots throw.
