Use pinned tsrs on supported development hosts while retaining stable official
TypeScript on Windows and unsupported platforms. Partition compile/typecheck
caches by actual compiler and qualify fallback hosts for compiler inputs and
lifecycle hooks.
Reduce PE acceptance startup through the existing bounded compiled CLI. Retain
upstream named MCP definitions, every fixture/assertion and the original 30s
deadline. Verify that browser transport loss preserves the observed target.
Validation: full qualification and real host lanes in
https://github.com/morluto/rea/actions/runs/39590450889 ; 450 focused regressions
passed with two documented conditional skips. All 1724 production emit files
match SHA-256 and size across both compilers. Current-head Codex/Greptile review
found no actionable issues. Measurements and limitations are in the PR.

* fix(application): retain completed evidence through cancellation
Validate completed provider reports before classifying cancellation and preserve Evidence and captured diagnostics. Share MCP recording and delivery across custom observation handlers. Add source-owned completion and public SDK recording controls. Refs #3923, #3927, #4261.
* fix(wasm): retain final observations through cancellation
Keep completed Evidence after finalization and through CLI/MCP delivery. Preserve output and cleanup failure precedence. Refs #4254.
* fix(browser): retain final observations and forward cancellation
Classify final CDP detach and completed scenario cleanup at the provider boundary. Translate completed partials into canonical Evidence for MCP recording, and forward CLI cancellation to passive Electron tools. Refs #4255, #4256, #4257.
* fix(ghidra): isolate cancellation of shared startup waiters
Keep startup group-owned while each caller has an independent abortable wait. Await final-owner cleanup and preserve cleanup facts before retrying. Reuse the shared abortable promise helper. Refs #3983.
* fix(mcp): keep shutdown registrations until cleanup succeeds
Retain repeated event requests while unresolved owners need cleanup, and unregister only after success. Verify coalescing and failed-owner retry. Refs #4253.
* fix(adb): own transfer snapshots and stage screen publication
Bind transfer digests to the exact private input bytes and preserve caller APK names. Retain failed descriptors and private-root owners with typed cleanup evidence; publish captures exclusively after the cancellation cutoff. Refs #4251, #4252.
* fix(verification): report ADB cleanup failures
Always close after attempted verification and keep unexpected primary failures and cleanup details visible. Exercise the production script with controlled imports, including null and undefined throws. Refs #4260.
* fix(runner): stop owned Windows commands on cancellation
Use the retained ChildProcess handle for IPC cancellation and parent disconnection. Keep the SQLite lock until observed child close, and include native Windows regressions in the curated CI lane. Native Windows results remain pending. Refs #4258.
* fix(website): canonicalize link containment boundaries
Compare resolved targets with resolved repository and site roots. Accept directory aliases while preserving escape checks and keep fixtures within their temporary owner. Refs #4264.
* docs(testing): cover completion races and cleanup retry
Clarify validation-before-cancellation, independent startup waiter controls, producer and adapter coverage, and repeated shutdown events.
* fix(filesystem): retain file owners and completed reads after close failure
* fix(session): report retained snapshot staging in cleanup status
Fixes#4277. Include both snapshot and profile file-resource scopes in the owning status fact, preserving publication receipts and cleanup retry.

Replace fixed Linux Hopper release pins with current vendor feed metadata,
complete detached-PGP package verification under the stable publisher primary
key, and authenticated package evidence for offline admission. Share parsed
publisher facts across approved setup, doctor and the pre-execution guard.
Preserve existing ownership, cancellation, private-display and cleanup rules.
Fixes#3577
Normalize empty XDG settings, preserve backups during approved cache repair,
and retain publisher cleanup through cancellation and shutdown. Exercise cold
offline verification without reusing process-local proof state. Serialize
approved cache publication across processes, restore old evidence on failure,
and share the existing lease owner from process without changing its identities.
Validation: 438 focused tests (six platform-related skips), full static/documentation checks, real Ubuntu
24.04 official Hopper 6.6.0 setup/CLI/MCP, offline ordinary-user admission,
launcher mutation rejection, and cold/warm verification measurements. Official
RPM metadata mismatch is tracked separately in #3578 and fails closed.
BREAKING CHANGE: Older Linux Hopper builds admitted by the fixed allowlist
now require retained publisher-signed package evidence or an approved update
to the current public demo. Update explicit HOPPER_LAUNCHER_PATH values when
migrating; the live feed exposes only its current release.

The rolldown 1.2.12 entry resolved from mirrors.cloud.tencent.com while
every other entry uses registry.npmjs.org, so npm ci failed in
environments that can reach the npm registry but not that mirror.
Version and integrity are unchanged.

Fuse upstream JSON parsing, scalar packing, heap admission, and value assembly into synchronous token stages while retaining asynchronous file reads and existing capacity, cancellation, decoding, identity, and typed-error semantics. Declare stream-chain 4.2.6 directly.
Validation: 30 focused tests; check:fast, Knip and formatting; actual Flameox paired full-content oracles; real Linux evidence replay and Windows source-built package/Ghidra snapshot recovery; final-head CI 31/31 success.

* feat(ghidra): configurable import language and analysis seeds
REA_GHIDRA_LANGUAGE_ID and REA_GHIDRA_COMPILER_SPEC_ID set the import
language when the header cannot identify the compiler (for example,
Borland C++ PE images).
REA_GHIDRA_SEED_FILE seeds functions, code and labels before
auto-analysis, for code reached only through computed jumps or data.
Both are validated before launch, recorded in the analysis profile and
verified in the bridge handshake.
* fix(ghidra): parse language XML and preserve seed ordering
* test(ghidra): use explicit platform paths for seed launch checks
* fix(javascript): retain cleanup failure reason in error causes

* feat: add Hermes as a supported MCP client
Hermes Agent reads stdio MCP servers from `mcp_servers.<name>` in
`config.yaml`. REA had no Hermes client, so setup could not register it and
Hermes users had to wire the server up by hand.
- SupportedClients: add the `hermes` format and client definition, resolving
the config path from HERMES_HOME, else the platform default that Hermes's own
resolver uses (LOCALAPPDATA/hermes on Windows, ~/.hermes elsewhere), including
HERMES_DATA_DIR_SUFFIX.
- ClientConfigurationDocument: parse and serialize Hermes YAML, upserting the
rea entry into the parsed document so user comments and unrelated settings are
preserved; emit `enabled: true` since Hermes connects entries unless disabled.
- ClientRegistrationStatus: forward the Hermes location variables so status
checks resolve the same path as setup.
- Tests: cover path resolution on both platforms and the register/read/uninstall
round trip, and clear the Hermes location variables between tests.
- delilah 🌸
* docs: document the Hermes client and its config path
- delilah 🌸
* refactor(setup): resolve skill destinations per client
* fix(setup): install Hermes skills in the active profile
* fix(setup): identify each client skill action uniquely

Stream large CLI JSON files through a strict UTF-8 decoder and standard JSON parser using the same admitted regular-file handle. Preserve native parsing for small inputs, typed malformed-input/resource/access-denied errors, cancellation, and complete Evidence.
Verified with focused public CLI regressions, a 768 MB whitespace-padded valid request, and the Windows native decoder boundary. Individual strings and the assembled object graph remain subject to native runtime limits. All 27 final-head checks passed.

stops at the merged side-branch release commit and omits older unreleased main
commits; restore the missing notes and absolute-path migration instructions.

* chore(deps): finish toolchain upgrades and drop dead weight
pino 9 to 10, @types/node 24 to 26, oxlint 1.73 to 1.87, knip 6.26
to 6.39, turbo 2.10 to 2.11. Narrow engines to supported majors
(22/24/26; vitest 5 refuses Node 25). Scope no-var-requires off for
Electron CJS hooks and fixtures.
Remove TypeDoc: incompatible with TypeScript 7 at install and
runtime, used by nothing in any gate. Drop the dep, docs:api
workflow, typedoc.json, CI artifact step, and related docs.
Replace graphology with a local call-graph adjacency plus BFS: the
only consumer is call-path search, and graphology-types ships no
types entry for TS7 NodeNext resolution. Delete both graphology
dependencies.
Remove dead re-exports newly flagged by knip 6.39.
* chore: drop stale typedoc and replay references
Remove the docs:api release-checklist step, the orphaned docs/api
ignore entry, and the nonexistent replay glob from the adapters
project.
typescript 5.9.3 to 7.0.2, vitest 4.1.10 to 5.0.3 (plus
@vitest/coverage-v8 and @fast-check/vitest 0.5.0 for peer compat),
@Modelcontextprotocol/client and server 2.0.0 to 2.3.1. Migrate the
removed describe.sequential to concurrent:false and regenerate
package metadata and product catalog.
Also restore byte-faithful reads in parseCliJsonInput: the safeJson
migration dropped the fatal UTF-8 check from #613. Vitest 5 requires
Node 22/24/26+, so verify on Node 24 (repo-pinned toolchain).
* feat(setup)!: expand agent integrations and simplify onboarding
Add native configuration formats for OpenCode, Antigravity, GitHub Copilot
CLI, VS Code, and Devin. Preserve JSONC comments and unrelated settings
while making setup and uninstall ownership-aware and idempotent.
Select agent targets before planning, separate discovery from intent, and
keep agent-only setup independent of optional provider prerequisites.
Cover configuration boundaries and interactive behavior in packaged checks.
BREAKING CHANGE: unscoped setup refreshes only existing REA-owned
registrations. Use --all-detected to configure every detected client.
Setup JSON contains a compact doctor summary; use rea doctor for full
diagnostics. Cancellation and successful dry runs now exit successfully.
* feat(cli)!: replace upgrade with verified updates
Resolve an exact release through npm's configured registry, update only the
identified installation, and verify its new executable before reporting success.
Return a read-only maintenance plan for existing enabled REA integrations.
BREAKING CHANGE: replace rea upgrade with rea update; no alias is retained.
Successful update JSON uses status "updated", reports the verified installed
version, and returns an unapplied maintenance plan instead of opening setup.
Replace empty tuples with a shared empty-array schema. Validate all input
and output schemas against Draft 2020-12 during catalog generation and
packaged MCP verification, with runtime and catalog regression coverage.
