Ysopwnable eeba61826c test(reference): scope cleanup faults to the owned source file (#2430) ...

Scope source-file cleanup fault injection without poisoning enclosing Git
metadata reads. Cover both environments and verify that the retained native
handle stays live through retry, then closes successfully.

Closes #2428.
