154.0.8037.57.2is now Stable on Linux (x64 and ARM64). Windows and macOS Stable stay on154.0.8037.57.1.With a valid CloakBrowser key, the wrapper automatically selects the Stable build for your platform. No version pin is required.
What's new since 154.0.8037.57.1 (Linux)
- 3 to 6 times less CPU when running headed in Docker or on a GPU-less Linux server. Headless mode and machines with a real GPU are not affected.
- Safer proxy handling. Proxy passwords with special characters now work, and a proxy setting the browser cannot read stops the connection instead of going out without the proxy.
- A more patient license connection, with a new
--license-route=auto|direct|proxyflag.autois the default and works as before. - Windows persona hardware follows the graphics model. On Intel graphics profiles, a fixed seed may report different core and memory values than before.
- Windows persona fonts match real Windows by default when the real Windows fonts are installed, so
--fingerprint-windows-font-metricsis no longer needed. - The macOS persona on Linux matches a real Mac in two more details.
Your profiles, cookies, and seeds are untouched. Only the browser itself is replaced.
Current wrapper: v0.6.2

Chromium
154.0.8037.57.1is now Stable on Linux (x64 and ARM64), Windows (x64), and macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel). This is the first Stable on Chromium 154, and every platform now runs the same engine. With a valid CloakBrowser key, the wrapper automatically selects the Stable build for your platform. No version pin is required.
What's new
- The newest Chromium, 154. The engine, its features, and the version it reports all step up to the current major, so you stay current with what real browsers ship.
- Every platform on the same engine. Linux, Windows, and macOS now all run 154.
- A big step for macOS. Mac Stable moves straight from 151 to 154 and picks up everything the 152 line brought to Linux and Windows.
- Windows catches up with Linux. The language, rendering, and text improvements that reached Linux Stable last week are now on Windows too.
Current wrapper: v0.5.12

What's new
- The newest Chromium, 152. The engine, its features, and the version it reports all step up to the current major, so you stay current with what real browsers ship.
- Windows persona, another deep pass — the fonts your browser reports now line up the same way everywhere a site can read them. Coverage is broader and more accurate, and more of your graphics and storage match real Windows hardware.
- The macOS persona on 152 — its graphics, text, and media are refreshed for the new engine. It runs on Linux and macOS only, not on Windows. Select it with
--fingerprint-platform=macos, and install the Mac fonts (a persona without its fonts is one of the most common causes of blocks). - A more reliable proxy connection — the proxy connection mode now works across more setups, and a rare connection hang is fixed. Enable it alongside your
--proxy-serverwith--fingerprint-transparent-proxy.

This promotes the large preview build to Stable. It is a substantial update.
What's new
- A second identity: the macOS persona. Alongside the Windows persona, the Mac persona is now a coherent identity of its own, lined up with real Mac hardware across graphics, media, fonts, text, screen, and device features. Select it with
--fingerprint-platform=macos, and install the Mac fonts (a persona without its fonts is a common cause of blocks). - A more precise Windows persona — more of it matches real Windows hardware across the finer graphics and text signals the strictest sites read.
- A stronger proxy connection — a better way of connecting through your proxy that clears sites and providers that previously blocked every proxy. Off by default; enable it alongside your
--proxy-serverwith--fingerprint-transparent-proxy. - Portable cookies — copy a profile between machines with its logins intact. Turn it on from the first launch with
--fingerprint-portable-cookies.

🏷️ Git tag created: Thu, 27 Aug 2026 18:50:05 GMTCloakBrowser Pro — Stable is now unified on Chromium 151 across every platform
Chromium
151.0.7922.108.3is now Stable on all five platforms — Linux x64, Linux ARM64, Windows x64, macOS Apple Silicon, and macOS Intel. Linux and Windows advance from151.0.7922.108.2; macOS moves onto the 151 line for the first time, up from150.0.7871.114.3.Keeping the engine on the current Chrome major matters: anti-bot systems flag browsers that lag behind, so a current base keeps your user-agent, feature set, and rendering behavior aligned with what real users report.
With a valid CloakBrowser key, the wrapper automatically selects the Stable build for your platform. No version pin is required.
What's new since
151.0.7922.108.2- Deeper hardware coherence — your GPU, WebGL, and the finer signals tied to them now line up as one machine, so nothing about your hardware contradicts the rest of your identity.
- Windows-persona graphics match real Windows hardware more precisely.
- Broader, more accurate Windows 11 font coverage.
- Proxied requests send the same cache headers as stock Chrome.
For macOS, this is the full step up to 151
macOS moves from the 150 line onto 151, bringing the entire fingerprint patch set ported and re-validated on the new engine, improved macOS identity and system-profile consistency, refined graphics and headed-display behavior, and broader network, media, storage, and runtime compatibility — plus everything listed above.
Fingerprint seed continuity
A fixed
--fingerprintseed may resolve to a different complete hardware identity on this build than on the previous Stable — most notably on macOS, which crosses a major version. Chromium
151.0.7922.108.2is now Stable for Linux x64, Linux ARM64, and Windows x64 — a full major-version upgrade from the Chromium 150 line. macOS remains on Stable150.0.7871.114.3.Keeping the engine on the current Chrome major increasingly matters: anti-bot systems flag browsers that lag behind the latest release, so a current base keeps your user-agent, feature set, and rendering behavior aligned with what real users report.
With a valid CloakBrowser key, the wrapper automatically selects the Stable build for your platform. No version pin is required.
What's new
- Chromium 151 base — the entire fingerprint patch set has been ported onto the new engine and re-validated against reference data. Current major, current behavior.
- Sharper Windows identity — corrected speech-synthesis voice sets, connected-media reporting, and screen and display characteristics, all matched against real-world reference data.
- Intel graphics identities now cross-platform — coherent Intel GPU personas that were previously Windows-only now render correctly on Linux as well, with graphics capabilities kept aligned as one plausible machine.
- More coherent network identity — network behavior tracks a real browser more closely across direct, proxied, and located sessions, and starts up with a quieter background-request profile.
- More reliable session handling — cleaner release of concurrent sessions and steadier local license handling.

What's changed in the binary
This release consolidates the identity-coherence and compatibility work completed since the previous Stable builds.
- Broader Windows hardware identities — expanded the available hardware profiles while keeping graphics, CPU, memory, and display characteristics aligned as one plausible machine.
- Closer Windows fidelity — improved text measurements, font availability, locale coverage, platform-specific path behavior, and headed window geometry.
- Stronger cross-context consistency — browser identity now stays aligned more reliably across top-level pages, nested frames, storage contexts, automation overrides, and repeated rendering.
- More coherent network identity — improved behavior across IPv4, IPv6, dual-stack, direct, proxied, and automatically located sessions.
- Better runtime reliability — strengthened extension and worker compatibility, interrupted-session cleanup, local license diagnostics, and connectivity through proxy-dependent environments.
- More stable native Linux profiles — reduced unnecessary variation across seeds when the selected persona matches the host platform.
- Cleaner runtime behavior in Docker — removed an unnecessary browser warning when running without the sandbox.

A coherence release on the Chromium 150 line for Linux (x64 + arm64). Windows and macOS stay on the current stable
150.0.7871.114.3; the fixes below that apply to those platforms ship with their next build. With a valid Pro license, your wrapper picks up this build automatically within the hour on Linux. Get Pro at https://cloakbrowser.dev.
What's changed in the binary
73 source-level patches (up from 71). Everything here is coherence work — making the spoofed identity hold together more tightly across frames, launch modes, seeds, and locales.
- Consistent identity under CDP user-agent overrides — subframes no longer disagree with the top frame about the browser identity when a custom user agent is set over CDP. Mainly affects Puppeteer, which sets one on every page session.
- Closer Windows persona text rendering — font availability and text measurements track a real Windows install more closely.
- Complete locale coverage — every supported locale now resolves to a coherent profile, with Greek (
el-GR,el-CY) added. - Headed window geometry coherence on the Windows persona; headless is unchanged.
- More stable results across seeds when the spoofed platform matches the host — i.e. the native Linux persona.
- One consistent reported build number —
--versionandchrome://versionnow read the public version from a single source. Web-reachable surfaces, including the user agent, are unchanged. - No unsupported-flag warning bar when the sandbox is disabled, as required when running as root (e.g. in Docker).

What's changed in the binary
71 source-level patches. A full rebase onto the Chromium 150 line with the complete patch set ported forward, plus a round of coherence work. Moving from the previous stable, this covers everything since
148.0.7778.215.5.- Closer alignment with a real Chrome install across speech and language profiles, font handling, storage reporting, Windows system colors and selection rendering, and graphics parameters.
- Coherent Apple Silicon profiles — chip, memory, screen, display scaling, and graphics limits are chosen together as one plausible Mac rather than independently, and display characteristics hold together across headed and headless launches.
- Puppeteer fix —
navigator.userAgentDatanow reports coherent brands and versions underpuppeteer-core, which previously could come back blank. - More self-consistent identities — values a real browser reports consistently now stay consistent across repeat reads and across launch modes.
- The reported Chrome version tracks real Chrome, independent of the version we build from.
- Clearer license failures — the license gate exits with a distinct code per denial reason, surfaced as a specific
CloakBrowserLicenseError.
