Build c480fe1c (0137 and 69f2a91) on the Base PS5: each core ran a game with
two recordings of the pictures the display was given (tests/pad/framegen-record*.txt);
evidence/framegen-every-core/verdict.py fails a core on a crash, on a window
with no real frame at 2 pictures a frame (the slow-core fault), or when its
generated pictures differ from their neighbours by more than twice what its
real pictures do plus 3 (the crop fault scored 31.5 against 6.7; still pictures
give 1.5 of the network's noise).
- 32 cores pass, the hardware renderers included (Dolphin, PPSSPP,
Mupen64Plus, Beetle PSX HW, SwanStation, Azahar, Flycast, the PS2 core).
- DOSBox Pure at 70 Hz and ScummVM at 119.88 Hz make no pictures, as the plan
means: 2 pictures a frame would slow a 70 Hz game, and a 120 Hz core needs
none. Every picture they show is real.
- NeoCD: no Neo Geo CD disc exists on the console, on the owner's drive, or as
published software, so it is not verified.
Content: the owner's games and BIOS dumps (console, LaunchBox drive) and freely
published test software (the 240p Test Suite for Dreamcast, a SaturnRingLib
sample built for the Saturn, simplebattlefx for PC-FX, Open PS2 Loader, Second
Reality, Beneath a Steel Sky); all removed from the console afterwards.
tools/run-title.sh: --game=CORE: starts a core without content (Opera, the 3DO
BIOS).
Evidence: python3 tools/evidence.py compare evidence/: 151 replayed, 0 failed.
Gates: format, unit 216.
