matthewtrahan d3d606f9b8 ring fade: review fix -- fade the rings only; the axis guide line's opacity is never reset by the gizmo, so scaling it compounded every frame and left the line gone for the session

calibration

calibration: rebuild the cutout coupon's print files with the review fixes -- still no edge on more than two faces, PrusaSlicer time and filament unchanged

2026-10-15 11:42:12 -05:00

fins

islands: review fixes -- the readout's '(+N midair starts)' no longer stacks on every rebuild, removal or Show midair starts toggle (only the line's rewrites append it; builds redraw the card); the red's bare area is read before the island walls, so Full's rows-or-patch pick stays main's; the card says when the island pass ran out of walls, and in Full on a point-seated part with the pad off that none got one

2026-10-18 09:05:08 -05:00

i18n

sway preview: smoother hover -- the ghost fades in and out (120 ms) instead of popping and a big jump in height cross-fades, a pointer slipping off the side for a moment (an edge, a facet, a gap, the rotate rings) keeps the preview 150 ms before it fades, the label fades, eases after the cursor and holds a min width, the cursor dot eases to amber, capped tops step 1 mm instead of 2, and shorter label text (all five languages). The motion lives in ui/braceghost.js; which brace a click stands is unchanged

2026-10-18 15:36:14 -05:00

prop

sway preview: review fixes -- removing or restoring an Auto fin refreshes the hover memo (a removed brace no longer refuses the spot), a rebuild or a move off the upright side drops the ghost and its queued frame, the stored spot stays on the face's plane (a reopened session finds the same face), the memo keeps 200 spots, a capped top on a band edge keeps its band count through the save round-trip, cross ribs shear the part once per lean instead of per arm and retry, and a session without settings leaves the new fields as they are

2026-10-18 15:36:14 -05:00

ring fade: review fix -- fade the rings only; the axis guide line's opacity is never reset by the gizmo, so scaling it compounded every frame and left the line gone for the session

vendor

picks: every Mesh raycast through three-mesh-bvh (vendored 0.9.15, MIT) -- a Draw hover on a 1.56M-face mini took 75 ms a pointer move, now under 1 ms with the same hits; the BVH builds on a big mesh's first pick

2026-10-14 21:05:50 -05:00

_headers

picks: review fixes -- the vendored BVH is cached a year like occt and manifold, and pick.js's load-cost note stands on its own

app.js

sway (Auto braces): a click over the rotate rings stands the brace -- the ghost shows there too, a click stands it and a drag still turns the part; a press that snapped a ring (5 deg comes within the 4 px a click allows) is a turn and stands nothing; and off an upright side the dot and crosshair go even with no brace shown (moving onto the top after placing one left them, and a build landing mid-hover left the crosshair)

cut.js

cut: review fixes -- a cutter that will not load leaves the file open uncut with a note (and is retried next file) instead of refusing it, an inside-out negative is turned outward so it cuts rather than adds plastic, the shell/debris repair is for negatives only (the part is never changed without a word), and negatives that remove the whole part leave it uncut with a note

2026-10-14 20:21:26 -05:00

cutout.js

walls: review fixes -- squat walls narrow too (a 1.2 mm squat wall at 8 lines leant 24deg), a cut wall's bands and strips keep to the narrowed body, and the clearance probe reads the body from the same rise the mesh does on a low tail (044)

2026-10-17 13:52:49 -05:00

draw.js

tall ribs: walls over 10 cm get face ribs at the plate (Brace tall walls, on) -- a user: fins taller than 10 cm wobble; Auto, Full and Draw, last around every support, kept sideClear off the part and other supports

2026-10-16 14:31:03 -05:00

exportname.js

export: the file name carries the nozzle and layer height the fins were built for (#279) -- part-fins-0.6nozzle-0.24layer.3mf, so the slicer gets set to match: a 0.4 build sliced at 0.6 prints its walls as one line and drops tines between 0.24 layers

finworker.js

comments: point prop.js mentions at the web/prop/ module that owns the code

gridsize.js

grids: review fixes -- a pierce found on the fine grid reports the one the old 64x64 walk met first (9% of pierces moved up to 1.5 mm, and callers trim the station nearest it), buildFins drops its seated part when done, gridsize's comment counts cells right

2026-10-14 20:30:08 -05:00

index.html

sway: Auto and Full stand hand braces without "+ Add walls by hand" -- with Sway braces ticked, hovering an upright side previews the brace (same ghost and label as Draw) and a click stands it; a click on a brace placed by hand selects it, and every other click still just orbits. The rotate rings and an armed lay or remove keep the pointer first. The Sway braces tooltip drops "In Draw" (de, nl, pt, ar, zh too)

2026-10-18 15:36:14 -05:00

inside.js

grids: review fixes -- a pierce found on the fine grid reports the one the old 64x64 walk met first (9% of pierces moved up to 1.5 mm, and callers trim the station nearest it), buildFins drops its seated part when done, gridsize's comment counts cells right

2026-10-14 20:30:08 -05:00

islands.js

islands: a start touching only amber (a sliver too small for a fin) counts -- a 2 x 2 mm peg end in midair got no fin and only 'may come out rough'; now a cone too (Matthew 2026-10-17). DRO housing: its two 3 mm pin ends under the top show

2026-10-18 15:36:14 -05:00

materials.js

engine: sway brace tines kiss the part's face (kissEnds), and the material's tine bite is gone -- one SWAY.tineReach 0.3 gates placement; Material tooltip no longer claims PETG shrinks a bite; same braces and tines on 16 cases x PLA/PETG, slices identical on 30 of 32 (lighthouse Y90 notch: +-0.13 mm2)

2026-10-03 15:14:03 -05:00

nozzle.js

walls: a wall too low for its neck narrows its body instead of squeezing the neck flat -- at 8 wall lines a 1.5 mm wall's shoulder leant 28deg, an overhang on the wall's own side (local issue 044); 2-line walls unchanged (864/864 sweep identical), same walls and tines at 0.4x8 and 1.2x4

2026-10-17 13:52:49 -05:00

obj.js

import: OBJ review fixes -- an inline # comment on a face line read as a vertex ref, a CR-only file's \ continuation wasn't joined, a big file split into millions of line strings (now one scan into growable typed arrays; a file past the string limit says so), and a 3MF's import note outlived the OBJ after it on a language switch

islands: find island starts -- a mesh low point (a vertex, or a level edge) whose faces point down, none red, joining nothing lower within a layer and with nothing within 0.3 mm in the layer below, cross-section >= 0.03 mm2 a layer up; starts within 2 mm merge (041). Not used yet. #18 at X45: 16 islands; #257's corners found; 0 on the scanned and mini parts, under 35 ms

prop.js

curved walls: on a jagged overhang the curves trace each region grown across the slivers around it (regions whose growth meets trace and race as one), read the slope over 2 mm, and seed lines until they reach the red themselves -- coffee bean X-45 0 -> 8 curves (held 1305 -> 2674 mm2), on its side X90 10 -> 30 curves with the Auto fill 40 -> 21 walls, and Full keeps them; a second race after the unticked one, so ticking changes nothing where no wall bends

2026-10-17 20:33:56 -05:00

scale.js

scale: review fixes -- the field applies on Enter or blur only (no spin buttons, no arrow-key steps: each was a whole reload), the floor is 10 % (below it a fine mesh's vertices merge in the 1 um weld), the factor is rounded to the 2 decimals shown, and a rescale drops the import note's 'restored N supports' (they went with the reload)

2026-10-17 21:09:43 -05:00

solids.js

refactor: kissEnds moves to web/kiss.js (reach and widths as arguments) and loftExtrude to solids.js, so the sway braces can share them; output identical

sway preview: smoother hover -- the ghost fades in and out (120 ms) instead of popping and a big jump in height cross-fades, a pointer slipping off the side for a moment (an edge, a facet, a gap, the rotate rings) keeps the preview 150 ms before it fades, the label fades, eases after the cursor and holds a min width, the cursor dot eases to amber, capped tops step 1 mm instead of 2, and shorter label text (all five languages). suggestworker.js

suggest: rank in a Worker with the page's tunables -- a 250k-face figure froze the page for 14.5 s; now the longest frame is 17 ms and the ranking is the same, default or changed gap; inline when no Worker can run

2026-10-14 21:32:24 -05:00

sway.js

sway preview: review fixes -- removing or restoring an Auto fin refreshes the hover memo (a removed brace no longer refuses the spot), a rebuild or a move off the upright side drops the ghost and its queued frame, the stored spot stays on the face's plane (a reopened session finds the same face), the memo keeps 200 spots, a capped top on a band edge keeps its band count through the save round-trip, cross ribs shear the part once per lean instead of per arm and retry, and a session without settings leaves the new fields as they are

2026-10-18 15:36:14 -05:00

threemf.js

3mf: plate writer review fixes -- the one-model file pinned by sha-256 of main's output, tests for a PrusaSlicer 2 model beside a Bambu one (each assembly its own model's parts), paint on the second model alone, and the locked form's shared transform; the docs say the shift keeps the spacing and centres the footprint, not the spot it was laid out at
